Job Description

 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Logistics Operations

  • Ensure client satisfaction by monitoring shipments and minimising costs
  • Ensure all practices are in accordance with the relevant Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ensure timely, accountable and cost-effective delivery of cargo
  • Co-ordinate and monitor all logistics activities
  • Provide weekly revenue updates and forecast for shipments allocated
  • Ensure Accurate and timely invoicing of all files
  • Resolve all operational queries
  • Assist with Debt collection
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancement and discuss with Operations Director
  • Strategically manage client and supplier relationships through on-going interaction

Service Delivery

  • Develop new models and frameworks
  • Develop, implement and maintain consistent and best practice service delivery standards, policies and procedures in conjunction with the Operations Director
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancement and discuss with Operations Director
  • Use extensive experience and sound judgement to manage multiple tasks

Business Development and Customer Service

  • Identify potential customers and research customer needs
  • Make first contact with customer and introduce company
  • Ensure match between customer needs and TAL services
  • Arrange meeting, to include the OPS Director, to discuss service solutions and quotes.
  • Finalise customer sign-on and SOP
